Today we are learning about a philosophy that shaped Roman society. Philosophy is defined as a guiding principle for behavior. This philosophy was called Stoicism.
Your will be asked to read several quotes from Stoic teachings. You will be asked to translate them into 7th grade language. This is a very collaborative activity.
Then we will discuss how this philosophy influenced average Romans, and then translated to future generations of people.
