Happy Monday,
I gave feedback on the 5 Themes of Geography notes and summaries. I want to say that several students did really well. Remember, a great summary is less than 25 words yet contains all the vital information from the summarized notes. Take a look at your notes in Google Classroom for more information.
I also had a chance to grade the World Map assignment. I want to remind students that attention to detail is important. Be precise and neat in your map work this year. All proper nouns should be capitalized.
Today,
1st, copy the vocabulary on page 6 of your notebook. See example on the projector. Rate your knowledge of the vocabulary as either: I know it, I don't know it, or I kind of know it. I know it, means you can use the word properly in a sentence, I don't know it means it is very new to you. I kind of know it means that you have hear the word, but are unsure of how to use it in a sentence.
Then copy the homework from my homepage to your calendar.
Next, I am going to clarify a few things from the 5 Themes of Geography.
