I hope everyone had a great albeit wet Halloween. I know that you are all ready to rock.
This week we will continue to look at the question as to why Islam spread so quickly. We have a few more documents to analyze, then we will write an essay. Use your time wisely this week. Ask questions. Friday it will be too late. Work ahead wherever possible, (see google classroom).
Last week we showed that trade routes and the appeal of Islam's message helped in the quick spread. Can you back up those two claims with evidence from the document?
For example:
Claim: The appeal of the message helped Islam grow.
Evidence: According to Document B, followers of Islam will be granted eternal life in Paradise.
