Think about the categories that you created as group yesterday.  How do they fit with the new reading.

On page 19: Create a Cornell notes page with a straight line down the middle.

Add these questions:  

1. What factors led to barbarian invasions?
2. How did large farms and LATIFUNDIAS affect the economy?
3. Why is it important to have a system in place to select a new emperor?
4. How did the sheer size of the empire lead to chaos?

Write a summary using these words:

inflation

corruption

expansion
